The Department of Commerce was established in the year 1998 with B.Com Course. The Bachelor of Commerce degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business studies. A commerce education can lead to jobs with corporations and banks as investment bankers, managers, financial consultants, accountants, advisers etc. The Department offers M.Com from the year 2002 and Research Programme (M.Phil) from the year 2012. Students are encouraged to organize and participate in various Inter-Collegiate Meets, National and International Seminars, Conferences and Workshops.
