The Department of Chemistry was established in the year 2016. It is equipped with two laboratories with sophisticated and advanced instruments like muffle furnace, magnetic stirrers etc. At present five full time faculty members and one non-teaching staff are working in the department. The passed out students of the Department are pursuing higher education in various universities. The main objective of the Department is to enlighten students with advanced knowledge of Chemical Sciences, and to make them both employable and flourish in research by inculcating in them the research sensibility. The Department offers an Undergraduate Course in Chemistry. Further it teaches allied chemistry to other Physical and Life Science Courses. The key feature of the program is the introduction and the use of instrumentation. The Department endeavors to bring about a PG Course soon.
