The Training and Placement Cell at Indo-American College, Cheyyar, was established in 2014 with a mission to bridge the gap between students and the corporate world. As a unique and distinguished department, it has built a strong brand among the corporate sector by consistently delivering talented and energetic graduates to various industries.
The cell is committed to providing students with job opportunities while also matching the right candidates to the right positions across sectors such as Information Technology, Financial Institutions, Banking, Advertising, BPOs, NGOs, and more.
Objectives of the Placement Cell
- Understanding Corporate Expectations The cell functions as a vital link between the industry and students, fully grasping the needs and expectations of corporate employers.
- Early Engagement Students are encouraged to engage with the placement services from the start of their academic journey, aligning their skills and aspirations with market demands.
Comprehensive Training Program
The placement cell offers a structured and ongoing training program that begins in the first semester and is designed to equip students with the skills needed for successful careers. Key training components include:

Placement Procedure
The placement process at Indo-American College is well-structured and designed to facilitate smooth interactions between companies and students. The key steps involved are:
- Companies are invited by the placement team.
- The details of final-year students opting for placement are shared with interested companies based on their requirements.
- A mutually convenient date is finalized for campus recruitment.
- Upon confirmation, a pre-placement talk is arranged by the company.
- The company conducts tests and/or group discussions to shortlist candidates.
- Shortlisted students proceed to personal interviews for final selection.
- The results are typically announced shortly after the selection process.
- State-of-the-art facilities are available for pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, activities, and personal interviews.
- If online tests are required, the Computer Center is equipped to accommodate these needs upon prior intimation.
