Commerce department was established in the year 1998 with B.Com.The Bachelor of Commerce degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business studies. A commerce education can lead to jobs with corpora¬tions and banks as invest¬ment bankers, managers, financial consultants, accountants, advisers etc. The Department offering M.Com from the year 2002 and research programme (M.Phil) from the year 2012. Students are encouraged to organize and participate in various Inter-Collegiate Meet, National and International Seminars, Conferences and Workshops.
